Resort Tips to get More Out of Your Vacation

The Holiday Inn Resort on Panama City Beach, Florida, has been a part of many celebrations and family memories, almost too many to count. We truly believe we offer something for everyone in your family, regardless of age. At the Resort, you will find several pool options, a kid’s water playground, multiple entertainment options, and a kid’s activities program second to none!

We have come up with some tips you can take advantage of at the Resort before your next booking or stay.

Take advantage of the Kids Activities Center:

For many, a vacation with your family is sometimes a tricky balancing act. Not at the Holiday Inn Resort; we have a Kids Activity Center dedicated to that. They have activities scheduled every 30-45 minutes where they take the children either out to the beach for games or go into the activity center and play games. The parents get that Time to relax by the pool without worrying about the kids! The Girls and guys in the activity center are local high school kids that love to play and have fun! The daily Kids activities are free to guests.

Also offered in Kid’s activities are the premium Activities:

Parents Time Out: 1 ½ hours during the day, the kids go into the activity center, have a snack, play games, and make arts and crafts. Parents get 1 ½ hours to go to the Seaglass Bar and head to the beach or pool for some alone time. (fee)

Kids Night out: For 4 hours in the evening, kids get to go to the activity center and eat pizza, play games, and make arts and crafts. The Parents get a date night to enjoy the Resort or the surrounding area. (fee)

Make use of the front desk:

The Team members at the front desk are always friendly and willing to help you with anything you and your family need. They are ready to be of direct assistance to our guests. Besides giving you the usual check-in and check-out times, they can suggest off-site restaurant options, excursions, directions, concierge services, etc.

Keep Panama City Beach and Surrounding Areas in Mind:

After booking your reservation, you should check your surrounding areas to see what is happening locally. There is always something going on in PCB and surrounding areas through Visit PCB, Gulf World, Pier Park, and the beautiful state parks with many water sports to enjoy.

Your room can work for you:

All 340 rooms are Gulf-facing, and we think they are all amazing. However, when asked, we like to tell guests, “the higher you go, the better your view” well, for some, that’s true; it all depends on you and your crew. We have some insider tips that can help you choose. The lower floors are perfect if you enjoy people-watching, want a front-row seat to the Dive-in movie screen, like a great view of the Guest Exclusive Concerts, Polynesian Fire and Dance Show, and have smaller children that will want to hit the pool and Aqualand early. The middle floors would be great for the Dive-in Movies, Guest Exclusive Concerts, and if you have teenagers that may want to go down to the pool deck with friends to watch the movie since you can keep an eye on them! The upper-level rooms will give you a great un-unobstructed view of East and West down the beach, perfect for relaxing!
