The most exciting meeting, conference, and entertainment complex on the Gulf Coast is now open! The SeaWatch Conference and Entertainment Center opened on New Year’s Eve, the building celebrated both the start of the new year its grand opening with a New Year’s Eve Extravaganza. The party and the building were both a huge hit with guests. This new facility is so versatile meetings, special events, family reunions, the SeaWatch building and the Holiday Inn SunSpree team can handle all your group needs.

Choose the space that fits your needs, the Grandview Ballroom or the SunSet Lounge. The second floor of the SeaWatch, the GrandView Ballroom, is completely open, set your meeting theater, classroom, or banquet, whichever style works best for your event. In this unique space you can open up the glass walls to the feel the breeze during more casual settings, or block out the sun to see what’s projected on the 180” screen by the LCD projector.

Located on the top floor of the SeaWatch is the SunSet Lounge. This floor is home to an upscale martini lounge but can be rented out for private functions. Featuring breath taking views of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico with three 42” HD plasma screens and four 50” plasma screens showing all your favorite sports, there’s so much to enjoy. The SunSet Lounge also has the flexibility to be set up in whatever style suites your function.

The three story facility is located directly on the water with glass walls from floor to ceiling on three sides of the building offering a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico; once you see the view nothing else can compares! “The first time I saw the view from the third floor I was amazed at how beautiful the beach was and how far down the shore you could see. It was as if I was right on top of the sand.” Says Philip Colvin, Marketing Director of the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort. The new building boasts 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space with 14’ high ceilings and is equipped with the latest technology.

Don’t forget to bring the family along on your next business trip if you can. The SunSpree is home to Aqualand, a water playground, and a fully staffed Activities Department. The new Under the Sea Activities Center will be open this summer and offers a variety of fun things to do for kids. The SunSpree has always had a great activities program, this year the new space will make it even better! With activities such as x-box game tournaments and Kid’s Night Out, your kids will be well taken care of and having a blast while you take some time to relax after a long day of meetings.

Opening this spring on the first floor of the SeaWatch is the Aquarius Spa, where you can go to get a relaxing massage, facial, or manicure / pedicure. This is a great way to take the stress away from any busy businessman or businesswoman.
