September 26, 2007
Summer may have ended but in Panama City Beach the warm weather, sunshine, and fun continues on well into the fall with average temperatures in the low to middle 80s during the day and 60s at night. The weather this time of year is practically perfect and with the fall events such as the 27th Annual Indian Summer Festival there are plenty of reasons for a weekend getaway!
This fall the Indian Summer Festival, held October 12th through October 14th, will be packed with plenty of excellent seafood, entertainment, children’s activities, and more! Headlining this year’s event is John Michael Montgomery, Little Texas, and Trent Tomlinson. Other entertainers include classic rock bands such as Sugar Loaf, Rare Earth, Iron Butterfly, Blues Image, and many more. This is one of the largest festivals in the Southeast and every year it gets bigger and better!
The Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort, located Gulf side, has packages available so you can enjoy the beach, the festival, and a great night’s sleep! Pick the three night package of your choice, either Thursday through Sunday or Friday through Monday, and stay all three nights with tickets for two people for all three days of the event for only $329 + tax. For those of you who can only stay for two nights, you will receive two tickets for two of the festival days, and a late check out at 2:00 p.m. for only $249 + tax. Both of these packages are a great value with 50% of price of the tickets.
